Paul Cocksedge unveils solo show, ‘Critical Mass’, at Objects With Narratives Gallery, Brussels

For his latest body of work, Critical Mass, Paul Cocksedge returns to heavy, industrial, raw materials : plate steel and marble. Here, he pushes them into forms that carry a surprising tension, intimacy, and human presence.

Together, the two series form a dialogue. Steel is sharp, angular, abstracted; marble is rounded, gentle, compressed. Yet both emerge from the same pressure point: a moment where technology, environment, and people converge, and where something must give — or rise.

Paul Cocksedge’s solo show, Critical Mass, will be unveiled with Objects with Narratives in Brussels on 11 September 2025.

LOCATION: Place du Grand Sablon 40, 1000 Bruxelles
DATES:
11 September - 11 November 2025
