Shade began with a simple question: could a suspended light exist without the visual clutter of a conventional ceiling fitting?
Power originates from an LED uplight below, casting a focused beam upwards into a Japanese paper shade suspended from the ceiling by capillary-thin wires. With no visible electrical cable connecting the two, the shade appears to float in space.

SHADE MINI
A smaller version designed to sit on sideboards, consoles, tables and other raised surfaces, bringing the Shade concept into more intimate spaces throughout the home.
