Made from a single piece of precisely formed stainless steel, it requires no fixing or mechanical attachment to the surface beneath it. Once installed, the object disappears, leaving only the books themselves visible.
This deliberate concealment is central to the design. Rather than introducing another object onto the shelf, the Invisible Bookend places the focus on the covers, typography and character of the books themselves.
The object is intentionally not shown here. Its appearance is secondary to what it does: a simple piece of engineering designed to perform its function while remaining almost entirely unseen.
