Maison&Objet names Paul Cocksedge Designer of the Year 2027

We’re pleased to announce that Paul Cocksedge has been named Designer of the Year 2027 by Maison&Objet.

For the January edition, Paul will also serve as ambassador for the theme Sensory Shift, contributing to the fair’s visual identity and presenting Tension, a new installation exploring the connections between science, material and perception.

Following Squeeze, presented during Paris Design Week in 2024, Tension brings Paul’s ongoing material experimentation to the heart of the fair. Using water and ice, the installation unfolds as melting slowly sets the work in motion, inviting visitors to pause, observe and experience its transformation.
