As part of Shoreditch Design Triangle’s Design Night, Paul and his special guests, Arup structural engineer Alice Blair, and Deborah Saunt, architect at DSDHA, will be discussing meaningful design for the public realm. The conversation will be hosted by renowned design writer Emma O’Kelly, who has over two decades experience covering design for publications including The Financial Times, The Telegraph and Wallpaper*.
Paul has collaborated with engineering firm Arup to transform Finsbury Avenue Square with Please Be Seated, a large-scale community installation as part of London Design Festival 2019. Supported by British Land with additional help by White & White London.
This is the fourth collaboration between the studio and Arup’s London engineering team and is the most ambitious of British Land’s London Design Festival commissions to date.
Please Be Seated will run between 14 September and 11 October 2019.
Tuesday 17th September
held at The Space
